The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

That is because papa is a dreamer, a visionary if you will. Going into a "task" like painting would give him lots of ideas for what it will look like when its finished. If someone else were working on it with him, he'd either have to tell them exactly what to do or he'd freak out when they messed up his vision for the finished product. But thats okay because it gives us a good excuse to let him handle certain things we don't want to mess with :)
Exactly!! LOL I think you got inside your brother-in-laws head...
When we finished that painting Critter #1 had an idea for a painting, and no one could help him with it, because of course, we wouldn't know what it was supposed to look like. Of course, when it wasn't perfect he cried and quit...

That is beautiful! Who did it?
All three of us worked on it :)
(Papa can't can't stand that kind of mess and "chaos"-i.e. three people painting on the same piece of paper, he couldn't even watch lol)
