The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say. J.R.R. Tolkien (The Fellowship of the Ring)

T-Rex
This week I had the privilege of viewing a real(a cast of the real thing of course, I imagine the actual bones are too valuable to cart around the countryside) t-rex skeleton. The largest and most complete one ever found actually. After all the pictures, videos etc of dinosaurs in general... I wasn't expecting the level of awe I felt. Just standing there staring up at such an amazing creature I felt a surge of joy and gratitude for the variation and magnificence of God's creation.

I thought 'ole Sharptooth turned out to be a combination of several other dinos.
This one is advertised as the most complete t-rex skelly ever found missing only a couple bones. Who knows tho! :) It's like "Lucy" or whichever of the "missing links" was constructed from a single tooth... which turned out to be from a pig...
